This cemetery was established back in 1881. The first person Known to be buried here is a Detlef Holtorf 1881, but he is not transcribed because there was no reference to him on site, this information came from a history book.

The cemetery was mainly used by the Early German pioneers of Mount Cotton. I believe it is still in use and is managed by Saint Pauls Lutheran Church, in Mount Cotton.

The cemetery is enclosed by large pine trees and it has a little damage that was done by vandals. Some of the monuments are broken and the graves are deteriorating but the grass is kept cut.

These records were taken directly from the tombstones themselves by myself on the 8th Aug 2001 and completed on the 9th Aug 2001. This list does not represent all the people in the cemetery because a lot of graves are unmarked. It is simply all the existing headstones at the time of my survey. I will gladly add any to my work if someone know a name without a headstone.
