Mansonville Cemetery
Mansonville, Brome County, Quebec

Contributed by Marilyn Davis, May 06, 2007, last edited Jul 15, 2011 [davismarilyn@axion.ca]. Total records = 1,113.

To go to the cemetery, take Autoroute 10 E. towards Sherbrooke, Qc. Take exit 106- rte 245 Eastman/Mansonville, turn left on Bolton Pass Rd./ rte 243. When you arrive in Mansonville, the cemetery is found on the right hand side of the road, left side is the St-Cajetan.

Located at the entrance to Mansonville, it is over a hundred years old and very much like most cemeteries in the area, situated on raised ground, with many stones unreadable.

There is a possiblility of errors as I was unable to recheck, the backup cd of photos being cracked. The cemetery is cared for by the Mansonville Cemetery Company and very well taken care. Clean and the grass always mowed. It is still in use today.

Marjorie-Anne Smith and I compiled this from tombstone inscriptions in the fall of 2005. It includes all existing and legible tombstones.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
