Saint Augustin Anglican Cemetery
Saint Augustin, Duplessis, Quebec

Contributed by Charles Gravel, Feb 26, 2006 [charles_gravel@hotmail.com]. Total records = 11.

Saint Augustin village can be reached only by plane or 'ski doo' in winter. In the summer, people may, in addition, take the boat to go there. To get to the cemetery, you must follow the 'school road' behind McKinnon grocery for about one hundred feet. The cemetery is on the right side of the road next to the Catholic Cemetery.

This cemetery is owned and maintained by Saint Augustin Anglican Church. It is not used for burials anymore.

There is another cemetery which is used by both Anglican and Catholic people, that has been established by the municipality.

I compiled this transcription in September 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
