Smartville Cemetery
Yuba County, California

Hammonton-Smartville Rd
Smartville, CA

Lat: 39°12'08"N, Lon: 121°17'52"W

Contributed by Ginger White, May 2001 [gingerwhite2@juno.com]. Total records = 375.

Take Hwy 20 southeast as you come out of Smartville. Then watch for the first road right, or southwest and turn. The cemetery will be about .8 mi further, just as this road. As it turns south you will see the cemetery on the east or left side of the road. Smartsville is between Grass Valley and Marysville.

I transcribed this record from tombstone inscriptions and contains all visible burials. I completed this in June 2001.

    cemetery records

A free online library of cemetery records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

    Clear Digital Media, Inc.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
