From Swainsboro in Emanuel County, GA, go 2.6 miles west on US 80; turn left (south) on Kemp Rd. and go about 2 miles to the church and cemetery.

The following sign is erected at the church cemetery entrance: "Designated as Historical Site by South Georgia Conference Methodist Historical Society As Site no. 10 National Site No. 165"

This cemetery is owned and maintained by the Ebenezer Methodist Church which relocated here about 1877, therefore the cemetery would have been started sometime following that.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
