The cemetery is located about two miles southwest of Whitesville, GA and is south of Pine Lake in heavy woods. It can no longer be accessed by vehicle.

This list was compiled from tombstone readings taken when I walked the cemetery in the summer of 1990.

The Rehoboth Methodist Church was one of the earlist Methodist Churches in the western part of Harris County. The church was abandoned, with most members moving to New Hope Methodist Church. Only the cemetery, surrounded by a low rock wall, is left.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
