To reach this cemetery drive north out of Morris Illinois on Hwy 47 from the intersection with I-80 for 3.3 miles. The cemetery is on the right or east side of Hwy 47.

This cemetery which was established in 1800 is located north of the Morris Airport and Grundy County Fair grounds. I did not find out who owns and maintains it, but it is still active. It is also known has been called the Conklin or Osmondson Cemetery.

Some stones such as Berkland actually have some in the group spelled Birkland and that is the way I listed it. Same for the name Tesdal, and Tesdall. They may be side by side but I used the spelling that was on the stone. I tried to be as accurate as possible. There was a total of 27 stones that are either broken or there is no legible writing on the stone.

I walked and read this cemetery on Jul 19 and 23, 2008, which includes all existing and legible stones and markers.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
