To reach this cemetery, driving north on Hwy 65, turn right or east onto Edgewood and continue for about 4.5 miles turning right or south onto S Franklin Road. The cemetery will be on the left or east side of the road in less than one mile at the corner of Indian Creek Road.

This cemetery was established in 1854. It is owned and maintained now by the Franklin Township Historical Society. I found the cemetery in good condition with some fallen stones. The most recent burial was in 1986.

This historic cemetery is listed in the Indiana Cemetery and Burial Grounds Registry of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

I walked and read this cemetery on Sep 24, 2007 using a digital camera. This includes all existing and legible headstones and markers.
