From Rome, Indiana at the old courthouse, proceed NE on County Road 238 past the interesting old house and along side farm fields until the road turns left (north). Park here if you don't have a high clearance, four wheel drive vehicle. Proceed off the road to the right (SE) following the tree line on the left looking for an opening. Turn left (NE) at the opening between the trees and cross the causeway, and continue up the hill, turning north and staying to the left along the tree line. Proceed north to where there is a narrowing, a break in the trees, and passage into the next farm field.

Look to the left (back to the west). The cemetery can be seen in a grove of trees about one hundred yards to the left up a slight grade.

This old cemetery is fairly well maintained for such a remote off road location. It is named after Revolutionary War veteran Terrence (Tarrence) Connor whose grave is found in the cemetery.

I visited and surveyed this cemetery on Oct 23, 2006. All visible and legible tombstones were included. Many could not be read or only partially read.
