This solitary stone is located in Jewell Co KS, 5 miles east of the city of Jewell on Hwy 28, 3 miles north, 1/2 mile west, on north side of the road.

BERG, John, b. 26 Dec 1805 Furila Socken, Sweden, d. 16 Sep 1872, 14 Years a Swedish Soldier, a footstone with initials JB accompanies this solitary stone, along the side of a road.
