Hays Township Cemetery is located from Highway 14, go about 12 miles west on Fourth Avenue & 1 mile south on Netherland Road, then about 1/2 mile west on Clark Road. (or) From Highway 50 near Sylvia, go about 5 miles north on Netherland Road, then about 1/2 mile west on Clark Road. It sits on the north side of the road.

Marking the entrance to this cemetery is an old arched iron sign that reads "Hays Township Cemetery". The cemetery acually sits approximately the length of a football field from the road. It is surrounded by a fence, farm & grass land. This is well maintained & appears to still be active.

I walked and read this cemetery on Sep 02, 2007. It includes all existing and legible headstone readings.
