To reach this cemetery, from Chase, take US Hwy 56 west for 5 miles. Turn north or right onto 3rd Road and continue for 1.56 mile. The cemetery is on the right or east side of the road.

This is a small church cemetery that was connected with the Old Emmanuel Lutheran Church but is still being used some and is very well maintained. At the gate it reads Emmanuel Lutheran on one side and Saint John Lutheran on the other side.

The names marked with * were gleaned from the Quivera Museum at Lyons. They had been copied from church records at Saint John Lutheran Church at Ellinwood in 1990. This cemetery is called Immanuel Cemetery on some maps.

I walked this cemetery in Feb 22, 2011 with my camera, reading all existing and legible stones and markers at that time.
