Lemuel Smith Family Cemetery
LaRue County, Kentucky

This listing was contributed by Edward Benningfield [knobcreekboy@mindspring.com].  Total records = 7.

(Hodgenville map, Section 7-M-46 Carter coordinates) Not shown of topographic maps. This cemetery is on the Norman Copley farm in 1980 about one mile southeast of Hodgenville. The farm at one time was in the Enlow family. Jim Larue talked to Mr. Bert Elliott who has been familiar with this cemetery since 1909. Mr. Elliott said that there were perhaps 35 to 40 graves with stones at one time. The stones apparently were broken off over the years and have disappeared. Names he mentioned were Davis, Smith, and Skaggs.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
