Kendrick Cemetery
French Fork, LaSalle Parish, Louisiana

Visited on 30 October 1997 By: Jimmy Kelly, Jr., Kathy LeMay Kelly, Doris Falkenheiner, & Charles Fryling, Jr. Donated to this web site by Kathy LeMay Kelly [j_k_kelly@centuryinter.net].  Total records = 6.

This cemetery is located off of Hwy. 28, approximately 3/4 of a mile. In a wooded area very near the river. It is in very poor condition with only one headstone left standing, the others that were once there can no longer be located. There is a tree grown around a foot stone & we could see that there was once a fence around the area. This area is subject to flooding and has been flooded many times.

The one Head Stone left belongs to:

MIKE CHEVALLIER
Born 28 December 1885
Died 01 February 1918
Woodmen Of The World

Others who are SUPPOSED to be in this cemetery, as told to me by a lady from her memory, are:

Chevallier, Ally Dowty wife of Mike Chevallier
Chevallier, Daniel Daily "Pompalo"
Chevallier, John
Chevallier, Ruth daughter of Mike & Ally D. Chevallier

Near by there is SUPPOSED to be another marker that can no longer be found. It is said to belong to : MARY WARD

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
