History

This cemetery was established in 1721, and is one of the oldest cemeteries in Plymouth County, covering about 4 acres. Single-lane roads allow you to drive in. It is well maintained. Many old stones are broken or unreadable due to age. Evidence of new burials demonstrate it is still active. (Note: There is also an older, smaller cemetery section across the street known as Chapel Cemetery.)

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
