In LaPlata, from the intersection of Hwys 488 and 6, go east/southeast on Hwy 6 for about 4 miles, until you see Bel Alton/ Newtown Road. Park there at the intersection. The cemetery is in the woods surrounded by an old rusty iron gate about 150 yards southeast of the Bel Alton/ Newtown-Hwy 6 intersection.

This is a cemetery that is in terrible condition. There is a lot of overgrowth. I had to take a pair of shears to cut my through. I am told the cemetery has 4 headstones however one of the headstones is missing. They are flat headstones, being more difficult to find.

The Dents buried here are one of the old families in the region. It is too bad that nobody take an interest in their cemetery.
