Koontz Methodist Cemetery
Frederick County, Maryland

1638 Park Mills Road
Dickerson, Maryland

Lat: 39° 16' 44"N, Lon: 77° 25' 41"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Dec 09, 2003 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 19.

From Dickerson, go 2 miles west on Highway 28 until you reach Park Mill Road, turn and go north about 1.5 miles. The cemetery is next to an old church on the west side of the road.

A small well kept cemetery. The church was dedicated in 1893. The church has been abandoned for a number of years. They are still using the cemetery.

I walked through this cemetery on Feb 09, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
