Owned and maintained by the Ayres Chapel United Methodist Church. The ground was given to the church by the Ayres Family. The deed describes the lot as being at the corner of Old Lancaster Road and the road leading to the Dry Branch Fulling Factory. It is often called Dry Branch Methodist Church by locals, because it is located near "Dry Branch" (a stream that often dries up in summer).
