Cemetery is about a mile west of Bryantown on the north side of the road, adjacent to property of 1401 Perry Corner Road, in south Grasonville, Maryland.

This old church cemetery is in very poor condition. The M. E. church that once stood here is gone and weeds are high. Very few tombstones remain, and grave depressions can be found scattered about the site.

The woman who owns the property adjacent to the cemetery explained the County sometimes comes along and cleans up the site. The apparent main section of the cemetery surrounds a large tree and is enclosed in a rectangular white pipe.

This transcription contains the only stones I found when I visited the site, which were Hessey and Bryan. The Sewell information is provided from my family death records. The remainder of the information was provided by Miss Bertha Dadds from her family records. 'Queen Anne Remembers', Vol 1, pg. 90, has a diagram of plot information.

I visited and walked this cemetery on Apr 29, 2004.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
