Total records = 60

Located on south side of West Vermontville Hwy (W. Main St), 1/2 mile west of Vermontville Village between village limits and Woodlawn Cemetery.

The cemetery is on property owned since mid 1980s by Brian Moore who lives next door.

Owner said records were burnt in fire and stones were retranscribed in mid to late 1980. These records contain just over 50 names and details are sparse since stones were probably quite weathered as they are now. Records compiled from previous readings in the 1960s 1980s and late 2000.

Most stones are broken and hard to read. Property owner said the person that use to mow would pile up fallen and broken stones so some aren't were they should be. Also, he heard that some family members stones were moved later to Woodlawn Cemetery to be with family plots there.

I completed this transcription on Nov 15, 2009.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
