Arbutus once was a settlement in the late 1800's and early 1900's. All that seems to be left now is the cemetery. It is an average kept cemetery, the grass is kept cut. It is located in a very rural area, and it is not uncommon to see deer wandering among the graves. There is ample room left for future burials.

This cemetery was recorded from the tombstone inscriptions, by Victoria Warren and Timothy Kemp from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, 2001. It includes all known burials.
