The Striker names were on a single pillar stone with individual markers bearing their initials, also on the Striker stone appears the name Alce (Alice?) M. Valentine D. 3-8-1848. Could Alce be a sister to George Valentine?

There were other plots outlined with current wooden markers with the following names. The M. V. Countryman, L& J Babcock, Leach, Drake, Findley, Nearpass and Hathaway markers seemed to have been placed on existing lots. Mattison, Houck, Burch lots appear to be new lots or lots that were never used.

I took a photo of the cemetery and a frontal close up of the Veteran's Memorial. PJB LOCATION: Jackson Co., Concord Twp. On south side of M-60 at Mann Rd. west of the Village of Cocord two miles. Appox. fourteen miles from downtown of Jackson, MI.
