At the intersection of Crooks Road, North Main Street and Rochester
Road, is the bottom tip of a triangular piece of cemetery land which
extends north and abuts the Royal Oak Cemetery. This burial site
was part of the original Royal Oak Cemetery land, but in 1874 this
2 acres was purchased from the township by the Catholic Society
of Saint Mary Parish to be used as their cemetery. One may obtain
