The burial site is behind the Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion on Minnesota Ave just north of the intersection with Broadway Ave, in Saint Peter, west side of street.

The Dodd graves are the only burials located near St. Peter's main business district. A single flat stone marks the gravesite, a small stone was added after 1922.

Captain Dodd donated the land for the church c.1854. When he died he was buried on the church grounds, later joined by his wife and two children.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
