To reach it from Badger MN on Hwy #11 go approx 1 mile east to County Road #114 turn south drive approx 3/4 mile, turn right (south) the cemetery will be on the right (west) side.

This cemetery established in 1902 consists of 1 acre of land donated by Even & Bergit H. Norjore. This site held the Norwegian Hauge Synode Church building which is no longer present. The name Opdahl may have came from the place in Opdal, Norway. The Wammer's came from Opdal Norway who were one of the organizers for the church & cemetery & also are buried here.

The Opdahl Cemetery is gated with a fence around. The people with loved ones here care for the cemetery which is good condition.

A complete walk thru readings of all visible headstones completed transcript as of Apr 10, 2010. A digital camera has been used for pictures.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
