From the intersection of Hwy 24 & Blue Mills Road go east 3.2 miles. The cemetery sits on a hill at 24001 Blue Mills Road. The cemetery is in very bad condition with broken stones scattered about.

The Franklins originated from Kentucky, relocating in Jackson County. This cemetery is located in the area of the Old Santa Fe Trail. The earliest burial was in 1845 that of John Franklin a Revolutionary Soldier.

My husband and I along with our good friends Jerry & Nancy Stuart, read this cemetery using a digital camera on Nov 1, 2008. This is a listing of all know graves taken from the tombstones.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
