Driving directions from intersection of Hwy 291 & Hwy 40. Go east on 40 Hwy about 2.7 mi, turn left on un-named con-connecting road. Turn left onto 40 Hwy going west, go .1 mi to Cemetery on left side of highway. The cemetery is located in the median strip between the east & west lanes of 40 Highway. There is a sign identifying the cemetery.

The oldest burial date is 1842 and the newest date is 1976. There were 79 known graves, some gravestones have fallen over and are unreadable.

I do not know who owns this cemetery or if they are accepting new burials. The cemetery is not in great condition, some of the gravestones are broken and scattered on the ground.

This is a complete transcription of all existing and legible stones and markers completed on Mar 08, 2007.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
