Ussery Cemetery
Owens, Wright County, Missouri

Lat: 37°12'57"N, Lon: 92°24'46"W

Contributed by Carol Shevchuk, Nov 26, 2001 [wc1099@hotmail.com]. Total records = 9.

From Norwood, Missouri travel North on Hwy E to Owens. Turn left on Raney Rd. Turn right 1/4 mi. at Ussery Cemetery sign.

This cemetery is on the Raney Farm and you need permission to enter.

I copied all the headstones I found in the Summer of 2001, and have recorded what I was able to get. Some material I've read states some believe another is buried there without a headstone.

It is on private property (Raney Farm). It was in excellent condition when I was there. Clean and well cared for. It was fenced in and has a sign which reads Ussery Cemetery.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
