Carroll County, Mississippi

Contributed by Betty Wiltshire, Sep 11, 2000 [pioneerse@tecinfo.com]. Total record = 4.

Location: About 11 miles W/SW of Vaiden, Miss. off of Hwy. 430. This cemetery is on the Howard Cox property in a wooded area.

This is a small family cemetery, no longer in use. It is in a wooded area and you will need to have permission and be shown the way by Mr. Cox.

Note: Mrs. Eli E. Wiltshire said that about 1930 she visited his graveyard and there were about ten or twelve tombstones at that time.

I walked and read this cemetery Jan 25, 2000.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
