This cemetery is located on Williamsburg road in southern Jeff Davis County.

The Wilks Cemetery is well kept and a profoundly scenic place, fenced in atop a hill surrounded by hayfields.

This transcription was made on Jul 27, 2003, Unfortunately, many of the markers cannot be completely read and there are several graves with no markers at all.
