Tolar Cemetery is situated at a high elevation, overlooking U.S. Hwy 98 on the south side of the highway, near the Marion and Lamar County lines.

A mixture of modern and Victorian, it is a scenic cemetery that is relatively small and well maintained. I'm not sure if there are any unmarked graves here, but there were three that were illegible.

Tolar Cemetery is still active, and so far as I can tell, the first recorded burial here was in February of 1917.
