The Barber Family Cemetery is located on the west side of Barber Mill Road, north of the intersection of Barber Mill and Cleveland Roads, in the Cleveland School community in Clayton, NC.

A concrete stairwell from Barber Mill Road provides access. It is surrounded by a double gated fence and has a sign that reads "Barber Family Cemetery, Established Circa 1840".

The grounds were well kept and clean. There is one grave marked by a quartz rock with no inscription. There is at least one unmarked grave.
