To reach Good Samaritan Cemetery drive west out of Clayton NC on Winston Road and continue for about 3 miles. You will see the cemetery on the north or right side of the road, just before you reach White Oak Road. It is on the grounds of the Good Samaritan Baptist Church.

There is a driveway from Winston Road, east of White Oak Road, which provides access to the cemetery. The graves are spaced out in the field along the road and has a sign that reads "Good Samaritan Baptist Church Cemetery".

The grounds are maintained by the church were well kept and clean. There is one grave covered by a ground level concrete vault with no markings. There may be unmarked graves.

James Kalweit and I recorded this cemetery on Jul 28, 2007. All existing markers containing writing were recorded.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
