Emery Cemetery
Wake County, North Carolina

Tryon Rd., Swift Creek Twp

Lat: 35°44'41"N, Lon: 78°41'20"W

Contributed by Shirley Olson, Apr 03, 2003 [shirley32olson@yahoo.com]. Total records = 25.

From the intersection of Tryon Rd (SR 1009) and Lake Wheeler Rd (SR 1371) travel west on Tryon Rd. for .5 mi. to Network Ln., a right turn only. Park on the side of the road about 25 ft. from the intersection.

The cemetery is on a grassy knoll on the east side of Network Ln. and fronting on Tryon Rd. It is situated back from the roads surrounded by trees and undergrowth. It is fenced and access is difficult because the gate in the front is locked and the rear gate is blocked by undergrowth. The cemetery is tended and in good condition. It is a private cemetery.

Transcribed by Shirley Olson from a tombstone on Apr 02, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
