Bass Lake Rd. & Earp St.
Holly Springs NC

Lat: 35° 39' 10"N, Lon: 78° 50' 20"W

Contributed by Shirley Olson, May 27, 2002 [shirley32olson@yahoo.com]. Total records = 7.

Directions: From the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Holly Springs Rd. (SR. 1152) in Holly Springs: East on Holly Springs Rd. about 1/2 mile to Bass Lake Rd. (SR. 1393). Turn right onto Bass Lake Rd. and go to the next intersection, Earp St., which runs west from Bass Lake Rd. On your right you will see a simple red brick church on a grassy corner. Along the rear property line, rather hidden, are these graves.

There are a few markers along the rear of the church property, almost on the property line.

The cemetery is owned by the First Free Will Baptist Church. There is room for more burials

I transcribed from tombstones on May 20, 2002.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
