From the intersection of County Roads 17 and 22, go 1 mile west on County Road 22 and then turn and go north about 1/2 mile.

There is one burial here that people know of.

This is one of the earliest burial places in Cass County. When they did the recording in 1971, they found the place to be neglected and the headstone broken into pieces. When I visited last year and on Saturday March 24, 2002, the burial site is cleaned up and they fixed the headstone.

The burial site is in a park like setting with a bench, a log fence, and trees. It is a nice place to visit now. Mr. Vaa's wife is buried in Lower Maple Cemetery which is about 2 miles northwest of this burial site.
