Total records = 6,589.
Driving east on Hwy #2 turn south on N Columbia Road, the cemetery is
on the east or left side of the road.
This cemetery is maintained by Calvary Cemetery Association. Their
office is at 216 Belmont Road, Grand Forks, ND 58201 and owned by the
Catholic Diocese of Fargo, North Dakota. It is still actively burying.
The earliest readable stone is 1878. The oldest person buried at Calvary
was born in 1793. Here is a map I created
of the cemetery.
I read every existing and legible stone over a period of five months
using my video camera. I did consulate the caretaker, unfortunately
his list was too difficult to decipher so I have used only the headstone
readings which follow.
This is the complete cemetery as of 2002.
