From Fordville, go east on County Road 19 for 1 mile until you reach 132 Street Northeast, turn and go 3 miles on gravel road until you hit the railraod tracks, then turn and go South 1/2 mile. The Cemetery is on the East side of the road,

This cemetery was once a part of the East Forest River Lutheran Church. The church was built in 1896 and was destroyed by a tornado in May 1929. Because the congregation was small, they did not decide to rebuild and joined the other area Lutheran Churches. All of the cemetery burial were people or their descendants were member of this church.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
