German Lutheran Cemetery
Adams, Walsh County, North Dakota

Adams Township, SW ¼ Sec 17
Lat: 48°25'09"N, Lon: 98°09'55"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, May 07, 2002 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 27.

From Adams go west 4 miles on Highway 17 until you hit County Road 24 then turn north and go 1/2 miles. The cemetery is on the East side of the road.

This was the cemetery for the German Lutheran church which was formed in 1892 and disbanded in 1971.

It appears they are still burying in this cemetery, most of them being the desendents of the members of the church.

I walked this cemetery on May 7, 2002.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
