From Springfield, go south, southwest on Highway 50 for 2.5 miles until you reach Buffalo Road. Turn there and go 4.6 miles west on Buffalo Road. The cemetery is on the north side of the road.

A small cemetery that is in poor condition. The cemetery was started by the Lefler Family in 1867. The last burial occured in 1926. Some of the headstones are broken in half, faded, and very hard to read.

I walked and read this cemetery on Aug 02, 2009.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
