Directions from Exit Five of the New Jersey Turnpike. Turn right (east) on Co Rte 541 and it is two miles to Mt Holly. Continue down in to the town proper and when you reach Garden St turn left and the cemetery is located behind the meeting house. If using I-295 the add another three miles to Mt Holly, using Co Rte 541.

This meeting house was build in 1775 and is still in use today by the area Quakers for their meetings. During the Revolutionary War is was used by the Hessian soldiers as a headquarters. The Continental army used it as a commissary during the battle for Ironworks Hill. This was a place where cannons and cannon balls were made.

The readings were taken from all the stones that were readable, in the summer of 2002. There are many with a number worn smooth by the weather.
