Immaculate Conception Cemetery was dedicated in 1895 and remains active. It was originally established by the Immaculate Conception Parish of the now Archdiocese of Newark of the Roman Catholic Church in Essex. It is now administered St. Theresa of Calcutta Parish. This cemetery lies largely in Essex County, with the north end of the cemetery in Passaic County.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
