Garden of Memories is is located 1.8 miles southwest of Hatch, NM, on the southeast side of Hwy 26, across the highway from the Hatch Municipal Airport.
This cemetery is owned and maintained by the Village of Hatch. The official name is Garden of Memories, but many refer to it as Hatch Cemetery.
There is no grass, just gravel and dirt in the cemetery. There are a number of trees and some people keep their plots very nicely. The cemetery is still in use.
I owe a big thank you to the ladies at the Hatch City Hall and the Hatch Library for help they gave me in my transcribing.
This includes all existing and legible headstones. I compiled this information between Oct 2003 and May 2004. The listings are complete up to Jan 14, 2004.
