Old Steuben Corners Cemetery
Steuben, Oneida County, New York

Contributed by Kathleen Last, Oct 20, 2000 [kllast@juno.com]. Total records = 45.

This is the early Steuben Corners Cemetery. It is located quite a ways behind the house across the road from Steuben Corners Cemetery but access to this is from Soule Road. Entrance is behind a small Town of Steuben storage building. There is a roadway thru the woods behind the building that leads to the cemetery. The road can be driven on but walking distance is not too far. The cemetery is in excellent condition and well maintained. One stone was illegible. This is a large area and there are most likely many burials without tombstones. The tombstones in this cemetery were copied by Kathleen Last and Virginia Ackerman on Jul 10, 2000.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
