There is a small bench in this cemetery with the following inscribed
“We the descendants of the Crane’s welcome you. Please
enjoy the view. This bench is placed here in memory of my mother, Gertrude
Crane Jones 1885-1962. Her wishes were this area to be restored. My
mother was adopted by a loving couple, Robert H. 1852-1922 and Della
Sweet Jones 1848-1918. They lived a 1,000 feet southwest of here. This
caring couple endowed my mother a gentle spirit. Mother took from people
pain and replaced it with love, comfort, direction and joy. Robert C.
