The Hamil Cemetery is located at the intersection of the Old Oneida Road and the Lowell Road (Rte. 26 S). The sign in the cemetery reads: HAMIL CEMETERY, est. 1782, "Gone but not forgotten". The cemetery is mowed and maintained on a regular basis and is in excellent condition. There were 20 stones that were completely illegible and several that were so worn that only partial readings were obtained. The tombstones were copied by Kathleen Last on June 24, 2000.
