Old Camden Burial Ground

This cemetery is located on C Street in the village of Camden. Many of the early settlers of Camden are buried here. The cemetery is well maintained however many of the stones are badly worn, some to the point of being totally illegible. In addition to the 20 stones that were completely illegible there were approximatley 20 field stones with no inscriptions. The tombstones in this cemetery were copied by Kathleen Last and Virginia Ackerman on May 9, 2000.

Memorial to the Patriots

There is a large monument in the front section of the cemetery with the following inscription:

"A Memorial to the Patriots who served in the War of the Revolution and are buried in the Town of Camden. Erected by the Camden Chapter of D.A.R. Jul 4, 1899. "
