Old Delta Cemetery
Driftwood Drive
Western, NY

The graves in this cemetery were moved here around 1910 from several areas in and around the village of Delta. This cemetery is not in very good condition and many stones are lying on the ground unseen. The area is covered with vines and weeds and it is very hard walking. The stones found were copied on October 12, 1998 by Kathleen Last. There probably are several more stones buried under the weeds as it is impossible to cover the entire area. Inscriptions and added information with " * " were taken from a handwritten list stamped "Asst. Genealogical Chairman, Eastern States Mission", no date indicated.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
