From the town of Lent Hill drive west on Kirkland-Lent Hill Road for about 1/4 mile. The cemetery is on the south side of the road across from the Hatch Cemetery.

The first settler on Lent Hill was Abram Lent. He and his family are buried in this cemetery. It appears to have started in the early 1800s.

It is an old abandoned family cemetery. It is now owned by the City of Cohocton. I am in the process of trying to restore this cemetery, as I can visit the area, I live in Florida.

I contacted the Town Supervisor, Jack Zigenfus, and he had the cemetery mowed. They only have the budget to mow each cemetery once a year. There's no grass in this cemetery, it's full of weeds. The landscaping is really the second part of the restoration process. My first goal is to try to locate each stone, reset the ones that have fallen, and then I will work on the landscaping (or lack thereof).
