Marlborough Cemetery
Troy Township, Delaware County, Ohio

Contributed by Dick Browning, Jul 12, 2004 [rbrowning@columbus.rr.com]. Total records = 2,601.

Marlborough Cemetery is located at the intersection of Horseshoe Road (CR 220) and Leonardsburg Road (CR 221).

This cemetery was probably a church cemetery at the beginning. It is situated in the churchyard of the Marlboro Church. The name spelling varies with the person who is spelling it. Many love to shorten the name.

Marlborough Cemetery is now owned and operated by the Troy Township under a board of trustees. It is very well maintained.

Additional information is available on many burials at the Delaware County Genealogical Society at dchsdcgs@midohio.net

Linda Browning and I transcribed this information from tombstone inscriptions, sexton records, funeral home records, WPA maps and obituaries. The files contain marked and unmarked burials. This data was last updated in April 2004.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
